                             American Girl Movie Review: Kit Kitteridge an American Girl

Hi and Today I am going to review Kit Kittredge an American Girl Movie: 

Plot: Kit is writing a newspaper article on her typewriter. She really wants to be a reporter. Below her bedroom there is drama happening because Kit's Dad lost his car dealership and can't keep up with the mortgage payments and the house might get foreclosed so Kit's family may lose their house. Then Kit goes to the newspaper printing press to try and get them to print her newspaper article and they reject it because it is not good enough. Kit walks back home and then Kit's Friend Ruthie comes and they decide to walk to Kit's house together. Then they meet Will and Countee that are hobos and are wanting food Kit and Ruthie tell them to follow them to where Kit's mom was doing a garden club tea party. Kit's Mom and her mom's friends give Will and Countee some tarts and sweets and they leave. Kit's Mom's friend that is Stirling's Mom says that her husband left to earn money in Chicago, Illinois and they need a place to stay while they get back on their feet and stuff. Kit's mom agrees and Stirling and his mom move into the house as guests. A few days later Kit sees a dog near a store with a sign that said "Can not feed her anymore Please take home". Kit askes her mom if they can keep her. At first Kit's mom doesn't agree but then she finally does. To earn some money while Kit's dad is away Kit's Mom takes the house and makes it into a boarding house adding some new boarders. And Kit has to move from her room  to the attic to make more space for the boarders. In a few days the new boarders arrive. The boarders are: Mr. Berk who is a magician, Miss Dooley a dance teacher, Stirling  his Mom and Ms. Bond who is a mobile library driver that always breaks something in the Kitteridge's house such as one time breaking Kit's House fence outside in the front yard by driving her book mobile into it. The next day Will and Countee come back asking for a pair for shoes as they don't have any. Kit's mom gives Will a pair of shoes and Ms. Bond gives Will and Countee each a book from her book mobile.

What was good: I liked the mystery of the Stolen Jewellery box at the second part of the movie that part was the best! I  also thought it was very interesting and taught me more things about the Great Depression in the 1930's. 

What was not good: The volume was SO low I could barely hear it all Felicity's movie had better volume than Kit's movie. I think it is because in 2008 in America there was a recession and people got unemployed and because of this the studio probably could not afford a good microphone for this movie but otherwise this is a great movie.
