What do you think about custom AG dolls?

What do you think about custom AG dolls?

Hi everyone it is Grace! 😊 I personally think that the AG customs look very weird and also is a risk if your doll gets damaged when doing the custom. What do you think about custom AG dolls? Type in the comments below.

I need some ideas for future blog posts on this AG blog because I am running out of ideas. Comment down below for that as well. Thank you if you commented. πŸ˜€

And for Week 7 at the AG Book Club we are reading:  Cecile And the Camo Necklace Mystery: TheCameoNecklace_CecileMystery.pdf (americangirl.com)

Sorry for this very short post. Byeeeeeee-Grace😊

    1. But I don't know how to post my own pictures on here. I only know how to copy paste form the internet pictures. Sorry. And I don't have any custom dolls.

    2. Here's how you can post your own pictures grace:
Just take the photos, and send them to your computer (there's multiple ways, if you're taking photos on an iphone you can just airdrop as long as the computer is apple too, if your using a real camera just insert the cartridge with the photos to your computer)
Then take the photo files you just sent to your computer and open your blog. You can just drag the file of the photo out of your files/finder app and into your blog post.
And as for how I feel on customs, I think they are pretty, and if I were to get a rainbow haired doll it would for sure be a custom instead of one of teh ones AG makes.

  2. I make a lot of custom dolls, but when I do I use dolls I find second hand at a thrift store and not dolls that cost a lot of money (like AG dolls), so that if I do mess it up, it isn't the end of the world.

I think it depends on how experienced the person is with customizations and how the doll looks at the end, but I generally like custom AG dolls and custom dolls in general. :) Someone gave me a custom AG doll as a gift once, that that magnets in her head that can make her look like Seven of Nine, and she is one of my favorite dolls. :D

    1. Cool! So did you ever mess up making a custom doll? Also what is Seven of Nine?

    2. A few times accidentally but that when I first started and I only worked on cheap dolls. Seven of Nine is a character from the TV show, Star Trek: Voyager. :D

    3. Oh I watched a Star Trek movie or two with my dad. I thought it was interesting and at least they were not expensive dolls that you were working on customizing.

    4. It's a really good show, I personally love Next Generation and Voyager. :)
And yeah it is, I got better at doll customizing in the future (and the customizations that turned out are the ones I usually post on my doll blog).
